To the OP. Considering you have already snapped off a nut and bolt head, if you can't get the lower ball joint adaptors out and bolt remanents out of these pieces, give serious consideration to swapping in the lower control arms, steering knuckles etc. from a post '85. Sure wish I did that, though my stash of used "old school" ('85) parts worked out fine as a solution to my, uh, mistakes! Neil.
