Hi all. Troys pic/questions re: adjusting star, and Mark Drillocks helpful comments, prompted me to double check my work. I noticed that my adjusting star is not centered at access hole. http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/RearBrakesTop.jpg/RearBrakesTop-full;init:.jpg Is this because: Shoes still "new", but as they wear, auto adjustment brings star closer to center of hole? (it seems to me it likely doesn't move) Or... Star offset from hole to facilitate use of adjusting tool? (i.e. fits easier in front of trailing arm) Or.... I installed hardware incorrectly? As per Mark Drillocks return spring comment, I checked my work. Seems return springs are installed correctly, but as subject says, please critique. http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/RearBrakeReturnSpring.jpg/RearBrakeReturnSpring-full;init:.jpg All pics: http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/rearbrakespringsshoes If any flaws in my assembly, please advise. I'll correct it and redo my web page of pics. Thanks!
