No ....real easy to see it and to reach in and touch it. Not enough room to get anything more on the wire or the male spade to both place the female on the male, then at the same time push it on. Richard finally got it on by laying on his back, while I used 1 finger from above to both bend the wire to 90 degrees and pull the spade toward me and it snapped on finally. Very cramped space. The shop that put the motor in and does these starter changes, said they unbolt the engine carrier, drop it 3-4", then put the starter on, making all the connections prior to jacking the engine back up and bolting the carrier back in place. Not a casual roadside repair. bob
