However, David Marshall pointed out the same issue as the Hella web site: Improper HID kits will blind oncoming traffic. In a regular H4 bulb, the light is generated by a small, precisely placed filament. This gives a clean cutoff. In HID retrofits the light producing area is much larger, and will not match the optical design of the H4 light. In the end I just got Hella's 7" regular H4 kit from Susqehanna motorsports.
