No. You need an adaptor plate or DV clutch housing etc. It can be done, but be prepared for a LOT of work. You are adding a cooling system. BDTD. Check my sig (website for some insight) :) And.... It's all been said before, but to reiterate; IMO, engine should be mounted at 50* DV mount angle. 15* mount does work, and in some ways in an advantage in terms of the conversion process itself (keep head and engine management.... hopefully that c/w donor engine/harness) but there are other potential stumbling blocks and it is MORE work that way. Having said as much, I am enjoying the "new" Jetta 2.0 engine in my formerly air cooled '81. Just got back from another trip to Alice Lake here in B.C. Engine still purrs fine.
