<<Anyone converted the front wheels of a 2wd van over to studs? Where did you get them in the US? dylan>> Try contacting Chris (loogy) T3 Technique <t3technique@hotmail.com> Here's his ad on the Samba: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=656981 I think the conversion studs are $3.00 or so each. I have also seen some starting pins (for lack of a better term) basically a pin or smooth stud with threads on the end that threads into any one of the five holes, the end has a slight bevel to it. It basically allows you to pick the wheel up and slide it over the pin to aid in alignment. You then remove it when the other bolts are started. I ended up using hub centric spacers on my vans, and that helped greatly in aligning the holes. Loogy is a great guy to deal with an a wealth of information. Troy |
