Similarly, I towed a fully loaded '84 GL from Dallas, TX to Maine using a Ryder truck and trailer. Like John, I don't know the final weight but it was a lot.

Ryder also specified 45 mph but I "Know" I went faster than that. I usually kept it just over 60 mph and had no problems.
