For any of you who were following my Third light email. Here is the final product. The in person version is much better than my crappy pics, But think about it !! These lights are better than none. I follow the Bentley diagrams to hook up the wires to the appropriate source signal.

I took the side brackets completely off an noticed that my super double sided 3m tape (for side moldings) could be cut to size. I decided to place the light directly on the glass. I have a 1/4 space in top and bottom of the assembly for breathing room, but the sides have the tape. http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik001.jpg http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik002-1.jpg

This lights also have built in turn signals (bonus). Grounded the lights at the left defrost ground: http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik008.jpg http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik004-1.jpg

I gave my wires enough slack to open and close the hatch without issues: http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik003-1.jpg http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik011.jpg

Using the same double sided tape I ran the wires toward a hatch hole. After placing a grommet on that hole I ran the wires into the engine area for attachment to the existing brake and turn signal http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik005-2.jpg http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik010.jpg http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik007-1.jpg

Turn signals on flasher mode (video): http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/NeptunoMD/El%20Guapo%20Vanagon/?action=view&current=blubrik012.flv

Hope people see the use of these.
