Subject: 7" hella replacement lights for SA Grill with An Aftermarket HID
              6000K kit, Will this work?

Here's a unique question for the day...

So I just bought the SA Grill Kit. Yes the lights are better than the stock system. I do have an upgraded 100watt light kit already installed.

Now I was in my local ECS Auto Store today and saw they had HID H4 conversion kits available for $200. They tell me in the store they have sold a bunch and people have been happy with them.

I was thinking of the an HID 6,000K kit system. The brand the ECS store was selling was called KenSun. http://hidextreme.com/ (for an example)

Now I am wondering what your thoughts are on installing one of these kits into the Van with Hella 7" round light replacements lights that Van-Cafe sells. Will the pattern look ok? http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/page_825_141/7_inch_round_h4_european_headlamp.html

Anyone every try this?

I just came across an article by Hella which states that these kits are illegal to use in the USA plus it show an example of what a kit light looks like in comparisson to a normal HID factory light. http://www.hella.com/produktion/HellaUSA/WebSite/Channels/Drivers/Tested_and_Approved.jsp

Thanks, Robert NY
