Hi.  I see a small fluid spot on the ground directly underneath the clutch slave cylinder ('87 westy).  I'm wondering if such cylinders are likely to fail entirely in an instant or if it's more likely that the leak will get incrementally worse.  I ask because I have some errands to run, and I'd rather skip the errands than have to get a tow.  Any sense of what's likely to happen would be helpful (knowing full well that it can be hard to predict my individual outcome).
