Yep, I check mine often, too. Just the other day I found one hose clamp near the fuel pressure regulator that weeped when I gave it a tug! So, even with new fuel lines, we still need to keep a watchful eye. FYI, there have been 3 vans in my area that have been totally burnt and I'm thinking of printing up another flyer to leave on every Vanagon I see. I did that a few years ago and hope that it encouraged some Vanagon owners to get that taken care of. Heck, I'll even install new hoses for anybody who wants to bring their van over to my place (just N of SF).
