I think the other issue would be people who buy a bus because they think it would be cool - without doing any research on the vehicle at all. Like our neighbors around the corner from us who bought their 16 year old daughter a '78 bus for he first car - because she wanted it. Stopped by to look at it and I got the cold shoulder - what do you know two days later they came towing by my house asking if I knew "anything about these things" - I offered what little help I could - mostly in directing them to the best local mechanic and a ton of web links etc. I also told them to get the fuel lines replaced.
