I haven't worked on one of those in a long, long time ( fortunately ! ) ........ but I don't think the dash comes out like it does on a vanagon. As I remember, you can look up in there and see pretty much everything that's there, which isn't even that much . ( no heater core or fan , for example ) . why do you want to remove the dash ?
