This where my tank rusted and the only visible damage appeared to be this tag coming off. When the attendant attempted to refill the tank if exploded (thankfully just released all 2.0 ga. with no spark). I was lucky that some of the flying metal didn't hit him but we both were pretty shook up over what looked fairly benign. I would replace the tank with a good used one or a new one from one of the listvendors.
