sorry........ worked on way too many thousands of vw's that had a fuel line in a rubber grommet..... and eventually it wasn't very good, and things chafed, and eventually leaked. I stand by my recommendation to just go around the firewall, not through it. sometimes very low tech is actually better. There will be no chafing or rubbing with this set-up. I installed one today and am happy with the result.
