Hi all. Thanks much for opines on my LP tank. Prior to posting, I noticed my tank had a tiny "hole" in long weld near one end. In hindsight, it looked "proud". (bead high) I was curious and had some time to kill today so..... Took it too: http://tinyurl.com/n4935m technician noticed difference in weld right away. Also commented that if ID tag missing/rusted out, he wouldn't use the tank. Not to light up a debate, just one techs opinion. Since tech and I speculated that tank may have been repaired, IMO, one would be wise to inspect the welds if inspecting their tank. Take note of shot showing end. Looks like someone got a little eager with the angle grinder!
