Subject: cracked poptop
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

my poptop cracked unfortunately, when it fell down when I had the lifting mechanism out. stupid mistake, but luckily I could pull my fingers away in time, which is more important than the top. so now the left front corner at the luggage rack has a crack. its on the vertical part, the crack forms a triangle with the poptop seal and the flat luggage rack seal. It starts about two inches in from the corner on the horizontal and ends about 3-4 inches above the corner. How do I repair this? I was wondering if I can put a steel U-channel under the horizontal potop seal, or a steel plate on the inside folded over so that I can glue it on the inside and have it wrap around the top hidden by the seal. any ideas, sources etc? Thanks! Florian
