Sorry, I should have amended the subject line since I changed the thread direction with the MS talk. Regarding the price discussion, I personally think it makes for good reading. Just listers expressing their feelings. I actually feel a little more educated after reading the difference of opinion. Maybe I just need to get a life.

I'm sure one of the mods will step in if they feel the thread has gone sour.

A little plea - let's forget about the ECU price - I think we've (including me) have discussed it enough.   As pointed out we don't know how much time was spent and a shop has to make profit. The mega-squirt stuff is interesting - but perhaps as a new thread would be best. Let's keep this thread positive and fun to read.
