Yes. And thankfully not literally!

I really enjoyed the shot of the wad/wires. ;)

That image reminded me. On my '81, while prepping the engine bay for engine swap, found this damage at wires above muffler just below license plate door:

I'm sure this issue has been dealt with before, and likely I posted the same pic. Still, no harm in a reminder.

Maybe worthwhile for other owners to check this area?
