Subject: Front suspension geometry problem -. 1983 Vanagon and 40/40
              lowering kit
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hi, I am wasting my tyres faster than I can change underwear. I got a 40/40 lowering kit from Germany - good stuff. But, my car is a 1983 - and I think that the lower arms for the front are different design than after 1985, and thus my front is much more lowered than just 40 mm. Can anyone confirm that the 1983 lower arms are way different (concering the springs) than post 1985? Happy driving Jens Jakob
