did you notice a backfire or other exhaust noise lately?

a plugged CAT can cause a no run situation when you have fuel and spark...whack the cat, does it sound like anything broken inside?

Put you hand on the taipipe. Have someone crank it over. Any sign of compression getting to the tailpipe?

lately I've been seeing a lot of flakey 2.1 distributors... but when the hall sensor is bad you get no spark so your dizzy is probably ok.
