valves story.  They all sound from your description to be  serviceable.
So, have the tank tested for leaks, then if good, have it  sandblasted then
put two coats of POR-15 on it, re-install your valves and you  will be good
until the valves and regulator fail sometime in the future, or just  install
all new valves and a new Marshall Brass 290 regulator.  I have all  these

dealer that works on propane and has a parts department.
