I won't pretend to know anything about the salvage yard business but I often
wonder why they do this? I've been to several where they have told me "Nope
we send VW's right to the crusher" - one woman even said "We crush those
right away. We want to keep american workers employed" ????


Anyhow, it just doesn't make sense to me - sure depending ont he area they
probably don't get a ton of people looking for VW Vanagon/Bus stuff - but it
seems to me if you have room in the yard why not keep them. Money is money.
