Yes I did check the braid itself to ground and yes its grounded. The center wire is clean until I turn the key on and I get .5 volts. I put one lead on the braid and one test lead on the block and I get an almost solid short. Where does this braid get its ground from? ie..where is the ground point for it? I did notice a small brown ground wire coming off the computer and I cleaned that up when doing my inital assesment...Thanks for the help so far. Please keep it coming.
