Sighted in downtown San Diego! On Fifth Ave in the Gaslamp at 11 PM. 5th
Ave is the "strip" to end all strips, and they were taking in the scenery,
of which there was plenty walking about. I only got a glimpse of the van
as it rolled by. We were on foot leaving a restaurant. Light blue vanagon
westy, very tired and road weary looking, bull horns on the front,
large "pitch in" decal on the rear hatch. Four tired looking guys visible
inside. I wanted to run down the street and pound on the door, but they
were already moving on. Could it be? When we got home I ran inside and
jumped online to check out the pictures. Sure enough! I feel kind of
famous for spotting them. I'll bet they could have used a place to rest up
and maybe wash that van.
