Hi all. Did some reading on fuel pump cavitation. Though it seemed that the small ID on outlet of older model year tanks was the main culprit, It appeared some had success by removing the pre pump filter and installing a post pump filter only. So I deleted the pre pump filter, and installed a post pump canister type Prior, with new tank + reseal/FP/filters/hoses, at idle, FP noise was ~ 70% intermittent. After update, at idle, noise 100%. PIcs, with a few notes http://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/FuelFilterUpgrade# Of course YMMV, but for me, this didn't help.
