Hi neil,
I believe most EFI systems use about the same pressure as our vanagons do.
We use the stock vanagon fuel pumps on all subaru engine conversions for
example.
'most pumps' for EFI we are used to operate around 30 to 34 psi I beleive.
CIS fuel injection is a whole other deal.....they operate around 74 psi, and
up to 100.
Like a Rabbit with CIS or CIS-E fuel injection......those require higer
pressure than our vanagon pumps do.
but for EFI ........
vanagon pump is fine. Some people use a Ford one of the same pressure once
in a while, or 'some american' pump , since they can get them new cheaper.
