Hi Folks: I installed and Audiovox cruise control last year, and overall I'm pretty happy with the results. The one drawback to it seems to be the buffer around the "set" speed. On hills it lags and going downhill, overshoots. One person said they tightened up the throttle linkage, and their problems were solved, but I just tried that and I believe it actually made things worse. A little more slack was better than not enough. I'm thinking the problem has to do with the vacuum pot, but really not sure. It's not the end of the world, but if there is a way to improve it, perhaps by going to a different vacuum pot I would like to try it. Anyone have one of these installed on their van with a subie conversion and have similiar problems? Troy |
