well, I'm down to these two problems currently. I need to find a diagram of
how the side shifter mechanism works on the 82 Westy. I received mine with
the shifter shaft hanging down. we also need a source for replacement
parts?  second item is the air cooled oil pump. I received that also
disassembled. it appears to have a washer on the shaft of one of the gears.
is that washer supposed to be on the shaft between the housing and the
gear?  hopefully this van which has not run in almost 10 years now will be
camping soon. Thanks, Thomas
