Man I love replying to myself!  ;)  (sure wish one could edit the
original emails.)

So. Seems my assessment was hasty.

Today, engine cold, start it, no noise. (?) Before update, it always
happened (intermittently) Now when noise happens, it's much shorter,
and seems to happen when engine up to temp, shut down, then restarted.
BUT, after driven a short distance, noise not present listening at
stop lights. Before update, I would hear the noise.

I have no idea what pump sounds like when engine up to speed, but it
seems this update may help.

Since it's a warmer today than yesterday, I'd be curious to know/see
if ambient temps make any difference. (i.e. to fuel in tank and
subsequently tank venting.... if'n that even plays a role in all of
this)
