I also think the car manufacturers sell the vehicles with no responsibility to dispose of them. Seems better for the environment to keep it on the road with updated propulsion, as Scott stated. When I buy tires, I pay a disposal fee(whether they are dumped in a ditch or made into those bad-ass mexican sandals, I don't know. My .02. Bad mood and rebelling against the system, I guess. P.S.
