Just wanted to say if you replace the filler valve, I would also replace the shutoff valve and regulator. I went through a small nightmare with mine and just wish I would've bought a new tank by the time I was done. The shutoff valve is notorious for leaking. I believe it has a safety high pressure valve in it and in my case it was leaking intermittently. This was after I installed one of the new fill valves and bleeder. Not such a major deal, unless you have a full tank of propane and an auxiliary furnace. Having to take everything back off again was a major nuisance, (did it three times) which is why I suggest while you have it off to do it right. New fill valve, shut-off and regulator. The regulator could probably be added later, but I strongly suggest you do the others as a pair. I think you will thank yourself later. Troy |
