The pins wear triangular and the open end of the clips widens. I melted metal pins into place and rebuilt the clips with filled epoxy (J-B Weld or similar) IIRC. Access to the clips is a nuisance. And it wouldn't be a bad time to add a relay in the high-speed switch position, to keep the switch from melting. On the 1.9s I'd also supply the relay from a second circuit, so the fuse will stop toasting the fuse cover and sometimes blowing.
