My Westy was just vandalized too - over the weekend someone keyed almost the
entire left side while it was parked downtown!  I'm hoping it will buff out,
but I suspect it will need a repaint as it is pretty deep in a couple of
spots.  I just don't understand the mindset of someone who would derive
pleasure from destroying a random stranger's property.

As for your antenna, these are the options for late model Vanagons. Same
profile, just different manufacturers and colors. In terms of build quality,
the two more expensive ones are worth the price difference over the cheaper
one (which is Taiwanese), but any of them will do the job.
