Hey Steve,

I had a similar problem with my '86 with a 2.1ltr in it. If nothing turns up from the other fine suggestions other lists members, I'd check the injectors. I had a sticky injector on my van. I treated it with Seafoam and it solved the problem.

Again, check compression/oil level/etc first as those problems won't be solved with cleaning the FI system.
