it's so understressed in that little car ....... the engine probably never puts out more than about 1/3rd of what it can...... or the guy just left most of the windows out for air-cooling of the engine.

I would have to say that most aircraft engines with propellers on them depend on ram-air cooling from the front ......... and that the hub area and the root area of the propeller blades don't provide much air-cooling to the engine at all.

there are even a few pusher designs, and the propeller sure doesn't provide air-cooling to those engines, or course. It gets compex.........for exaample, need to be careful to not shock-cool the engine on rapid decents ..... so they have adjustible cowl inlets ........so they can reduce cooling air to the engine, or increase it etc.

I suspect this monster air-craft radial engine is barely loafing. After all..........air craft engines operate at pretty high output and load constantly ...... not too much in easy cruise and light loud, or varible load like cars do. So if it's designed to do ............whatever it is, 360 hp at 2,500 rpm ........ it's probably barely loafing along pushing that tiny car at say 50. Be interesting to see what gearing he's running ....... he might be doing 80 at 1,200 rpm or some silly low number like that with that beast !
