If you purchase a jumpseat make sure that you get the seat, mounting bracket, and seatbelt with buckle. The bracket bolts to the back of the pedestal that houses the battery and passenger seat(front wheel house). The seat has a quick release latch that clips into the bracket. The floor of a van that came with jumpseats has metal brackets that are basically short tubes welded on for the locating pegs on the bottom of the seat legs to sit in. Westy owners have to fabricate something for this. Some people just drill into the wood floor and call it good. Others build brackets and bolt or weld them on to the floor. One idea I saw used large allen head bolts secured to the floor and the seat pegs sit in the top of the bolts. Decide what you will do for the floor brackets before mounting the rear one as they may affect its placement.
