I've used 303 Aerospace Protectant and it seems to help with that dull whitish oxidation look. With a little elbow grease the color actually matches the paint job and does for quite some time. I am due for a clean up

You can pick it up at move RV stores, Wal-mart, or Kragen, OSH etc.
