Greetings, Oh great and powerful list.

Been following the blower replacement thread and I need to replace the blower motor in my 1980 air-cooled vanagon. The questions are as follows:

1) Is the air box the same in air-cooled vans as the waserbox (one has a heater core-water cooled Vs air-cooled

2) What type of glue is used to glue the half back together?

3) Is there really that much difference in the air cooled vans when it is working? Mine has never worked since I have had it and I do not drive it in 20'or less weather. So would it just be a waist of time and skinned knuckles?
