That is all good advice about running a snow tire down there and how
the rubber is soft, etc., but I've been running a set of these, full
time, for three years, and they look to have another season in them.
These tires performed very, very well in Colorado Rockies high
country, in what many would consider severe conditions, with deep
snow, ice and steep climbs. They also perform well on wet and dry
pavement. On top of this, they are priced very low, considering that
they compare so well to some of the higher priced tires, like the
Nokian Hakkas (I run both.) I ran these on my Syncro for the first two
years , then put them on my 2wd automatic........
