I've change the MC, and both switches on my 84 Westy. Followed procedures by the book, bench bleed the MC, and put in brand new brake light switches.
However, I still do not get brake lights to go on unless there is significant braking pressure (a harder stop). Light braking doesn't turn the brake lights on. Better than before the replacement, but still not great!
Has anyone else found a similar issue? I know the 84's have a different switch than the later models, I assume the later switches were used to correct this problem.
Is there a recommended fix for this?
Thanks for any help!
