Congrats on getting the tank out. A tip on installing. Since yours was snug.

If you apply some kind of top coat, don't go over board. If coat(s) too thick, it may make tank tight to area it fits into. i.e. tough to get back in.

I posted a link not long ago regarding flaring VW brake lines. Nice big pics too!

Not sure what you can use for attach the line to the frame ( those little white clips seem to break). Possibly something from your FLAPS?
