My preference is for the memory foam. Great support, conforms to the body
without being squishy. Something to consider: memory foam mattresses trap
quite a bit of warmth, great if you are a cold sleeper, not so great if you
are prone to get too hot in bed. An air mattress, on the other hand, sleeps
quite cold. Not too bad in warm summer climates, but the first time you
sleep on one in an unheated van in colder weather you may decide it's not
for you.

My wife's back is beginning to bother her when she sleeps in our Westy.
Anyone have any recommendations for either a decent air mattress or foam pad
that can be used on the lower bunk?
