Hi all.

Before my new LP tank was installed, shut off valve was
removed/re-installed by Cap-Tex Automotive. (separate unrelated issue)
Tank wasn't under pressure. Tank got installed/hooked up by North
Shore RV. Was told tank needed to be purged prior to filling.

Called a few filling stations, wasn't certain tank had to be purged as
per home.earthlink web page. Went to Cap-Tex and asked. They are a
natural gas/propane automotive conversion shop. They said purging as
per home.earthlink web page not needed. (they should know right?) They
said tell LP jockey tank is empty/new. He should then know to open
bleeder and start filling the same way he would with a manual fill.
The idea being that air gets pushed out bleeder as LP goes in thus
purging the tank (eventually). This should be done the first few
"fill-ups".

I did this. Air smelling of propane hissed out bleeder. No LP came
out. The autofill valve "kicked in" several times forcing pump gun to
shut off, but as air purged out, tank eventually took ~ 8.6 litres. (~
2 imperial gallons)

Appliances/system work fine, but since I purged the tank this way, is
there a risk of moisture staying in tank along with the LP?
