that, and shielding on vanagons and the 02 sensor wire ......
I always assumed it was to reduce radio interference........but I do notice
only a few vanagons have the grounded metal cap over the distributor cap
these days, and wonder if VW putting that 'shield cap' on the distributor
had anything to do with oxygen sensor input to the ecu ...??
