I mounted a SPDT toggle switch behind the drivers seat (next to the little black fuse box) that lets me switch between main and aux for powering the 'fridge fan and water pump. It also controls which battery the condition lights read. It spends most of its life on 'aux' but it is handy to toggle over for a quick check of the main battery. My set-up is a liitle unoorthodox perhaps as I have the aux battery under the rear seat in a homemade plywood box -- but on the lid of the box are voltmeters for both aux and main for more exact info. Suspenders and belt I guess, but I use both.
