Finally!!! I'm back in a VW.
The new Tristar is registered, titled and ready to go. Indiana is a piece of cake compared to the People's Republik of Kalifornia. Here's a few picks of it sitting in my driveway.

Anyways. Has anyone out there purposely bent their shifter? When in first or reverse, the shifter in the Tristar sits a little too far to the left for comfort. Everything feels tight when shifting, but I'm going to see if there's any adjustment in the shifter assembly. I'm also wondering if the shifter can handle a little heating and bending.
Cheers,
Jeff Still stuck in Indiana. |
