Allan, I would not scrap a van with that damage. I would fix it but of course I can do that myself. I have many times, easy stuff if you have the knowledge and tools. NOW, if you have to pay someone to do it "properly" that may be a different story. A lot depends on how much "in love" you are with THAT van. I like the colour ! My '87 was in way worse condition when Rita put it head on into the local bridge railing one icy cold morning a few years ago. My bill to her was for around $7000 which was done as if she was a regular customer just to show the cost of the damage repair.
