is the tank suffering from a failure of some sort..
hose failure?
connection failure?
did it simply get too hot and back up into the tank and relieve it self ...?
did any of the gages look out-of-whack as you drove?
did any warning lights or signals go off

can you go for a drive and repeat the trouble
or can you idle at home and have the trouble repeat so as not to be left on
the road broken

how much fluid did you lose and is it still leaking out now that you are
stopped
it is very hot outside with temps in the 30's in the shade ...

so many questions ...?
