I agree with the web site, in my opinion all oil additives are "snake oil". But I'll go one step further and state that most fuel system additives, transmission additives and cooling system additives are "snake oil" with one exception - injector cleaner that contains techroline (don't know if I spelled it right).

One additive that was useful was gas line dryer. The bottles contain methyl alcohol. The alcohol mixes with water in the bottom of your tank, the solution combines with the gas & it is burned in the engine. But since today's gas contains 10% alcohol, this product isn't needed anymore.

Read all the comments posted at the bottom. A lot of consumers who have a lot of faith in this stuff.
